Ok Guys, first off glue and putty and sand your model, now go ahead and give it a coat of good gray primer after it is dry it will show you any uneven seams you may have. (And it helps with light blocking)

Quick question what kind of putty do you recommend..I tried testers once but wasn't too thrilled with its results..

We found the best is Green Putty, 2.3 oz. it runs around $4.00 it dry's quick and it's easy to work with.

That's the putty I use as well and I have been pleased with the results.
