Hi guys,
First of all let me say that the videos you have posted are great. I have watched all of the ones with regards to the TOS Enterprise and am about to begin my own. I purchased the Premier edition of the Round 2 kit. However I do have a few questions:
1. What exactly is magnet wire and where can I purchase it?
2. What colors of the Folk Art Acrylic did you use in the painting of the kit?
3. Does the Tenacore lighting kit solve some of the light fit problems in the hangar bay?
4. How did you make the images for the display base?
5. Where can one purchase Canopy glue?
I think that's enough for now to start with as I am sure I will have more later. I plan on starting with the saucer first and removing the panel lines and then moving on from there with the build. Wish me luck. I am an experienced modeler but never had such an ambitious project. I will keep you updated.
Thanks again!

I can answer 1. And 5. Easy enough but you will have to wait for Wally for the other q's. Magnet wire is just that....magnet wire. You can find it at Radio Shank if it is an emergency but is usually much cheaper from the internet. Just search for magnet wire on Google. Canopy Glue is in hobby shops or search Canopy Glue 560 on google. There is also crystal clear which is similar but even clearer. Hope this helps a bit.

By the way, I misspelled.....it's actually micro Krystal klear. It is very clear. For windows I'd use formula 560.

Thanks Pete!
Another question for Wally---
What did you use to thin the Folk Art paints and what ratio of thinner to paint?
My kit has arrived and I have unboxed it, washed it, and started filling panel lies on the saucer. It is kit 1095/1701.
