Hi Everyone Well after a few disasters I have finished my first major build a 1/350 TOS Enterprise. No doubt it is far from being the best build of the TOS but I have enjoyed the every minute of the build and learned a lot about electronics, painting, building, my patience quota, planning, my patience quota, wiring, hot glue guns, my patience quota, decals, stencils, my patience quota and how to have a good time. Appreciated all the help from Starfleet Model Academy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your videos were a great reference.

Very,Very Nice, Great job ! I love the shuttle bay, (I think I seen something close to that somewhere before LOL) My friend.... like Spock said "For everything their is a first time" and you nailed it. I do have one question, why blue over the shuttle bay, I'm thinking just to be different? What ever the reason it looks great, and it's yours, and no one can ever take the knowledge you got while building it. I tip my hat sir, now sit back, light that bad boy up, grab a beer, and enjoy the fruit's of your labor.....(it never gets old) I do it everyday. Again GREAT JOB! and looking forward to more build's from a up and coming Master Builder.
Wally
P.S. Just to let you know on starfleetmodelacademy.com we now carry all Tenacontrols lighting boards. We have also revamped the web site.

Hi Wally You are spot on with the Blue light, I just wanted something a little bit different without changing the basic TOS model. Hahahahaha, Like a thief in the night I stole your shuttle bay idea. Thanks for that !!!!! I also appreciate the idea of having a smoke and a beer sitting back and relaxing!! I genuinely enjoyed the build despite a couple of disasters during the project. My first attempt at painting the models markings with the drydock stencil kit was a disaster hahahahaha The drydocks product was brilliant the running paint and colour bleeding etc was all my fault so I had to order a new set of stencils and start a fresh. I should say that after I posted the photo's I wasn't happy with my efforts and I went back and did some touch up painting here and there and then I was happy with the model. After doing the TOS I have decided to build the Bandai 1/350 Space Battleship Yamato which should be a great project. The kit arrived here about a week ago and I was blown away with just the box it came in. The box is full of artistic paintings and incredible quality model parts and booklets. The funny thing is all the instructions are in Japanese so I will have to study the diagrams very carefully hahahahaha. This could be a slow build!! I have paid a visit to your web site and it looks great, congratulations. I was looking at the list of models and I would dearly love the Saturn 5, as young as I was back in the sixties I still remember being in total awe of the Saturn 5 and all the Apollo missions. I think I have read every book written about the USA Space program. Well thanks guys and if there are no issues with Star Fleet I will post a few pictures of the Space Battleship Yamato build. Kind Regards Alan
