I've been watching Starfleetmodelacadem's YouTube videos on their build up of PL's 1/350 TOS E and in one video they mention that they left out the window inserts and were planning to fill the windows with Canopy Glue, but episode 18 doesn't seem to cover that (and the windows were empty before that one). I wanted to see this in the vid because I'm thinking of doing the same thing (with either Canopy Glue or Kristal Kleer) but I had thought these windows were too large for the stuff to fill it properly without 'sagging' in the middle.
Has anyone successfully used this stuff to fill windows this size?

Hello WELCOME! and thanks for watching our videos, and I am sorry that we did not cover the Canopy glue windows in the video build, but if you look at the finished video that is what is in the window openings. You can use the Testors glue tips or just use a tooth pick, we did both. Just make sure that the glue is out to the surface, if you get some on the model just use a damp Q Tip to wipe it off. I really like the Canopy glue over the Kristal Kleer, that I used to use, now for all the build's all I use is the canopy glue, you will not be sorry with the results. I have even used Canopy Glue on even bigger windows with no problem, but you have to layer them. I have made a note to go over this topic in our next build. Again Sorry for the over site and glad you pointed it out to us.
PLEASE BE SURE TO SEND US SOME PICTURES OF YOUR BUILD SO WE CAN POST THEM ON OUR WEB SITE!

Thanks Wally. When you say 'layers' do you mean multiple applications of the canopy glue on top of one another? Also, can this stuff be tinted?

Yes for bigger windows you can put one over the other, but on the 1/350 Enterprise We only filled them once. and yes you can tint it.
